LAHORE:The Lahore District Administration discussed the timely and high-quality execution of the Lahore Development Programme.
During a weekly review meeting, attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Hafiz Mudassir Nawaz and Chief Officer Metropolitan Corporation Lahore Shahid Abbas Kathia, all Assistant Commissioners provided detailed briefings on the progress of development projects within their respective areas.
DC Syed Musa Raza stated that there would be no compromise on the transparency and quality of ongoing development schemes under the Lahore Development Programme. He stressed the imperative of completing CM's Lahore Development Programme within the stipulated timeframe. Directives were issued to Wasa to expedite the completion of sewerage and water supply projects. Furthermore, the deputy commissioner ordered the immediate removal of all encroachments during construction works and the demolition of platforms and sheds to enhance the aesthetic appeal of streets.
DC Musa Raza also instructed Nespak to ensure the highest standards of work quality, underscoring that development projects must be durable and robust for the long-term benefit of Lahore's citizens.
