LAHORE: Classical singer Akbar Ali known as Sooraj Khan in the world of music mesmerized the audience at a function held at a local hotel on Friday. His performance was so enthralling that people felt themselves spellbound by his crescendos. Sooraj’s brother Chaand Khan, who is his singing peer, added to the beauty of melodious notes voiced by his brother. It is relevant to mention here that Sooraj Khan is a son of renowned classical and sufi singer Ustad Hussain Bukhsh Gulloo (Pride of Performance) who belonged to the two big classical music families of Hindustan – Patayala and Shaam Churaasi. Sooraj Khan is carrying on the glorious legacy of his father and is known all over the world for his mastery over classical notes. He has given overwhelming performances in many countries including the UK, Germany, France, Norway, Egypt, Dubai and Spain.
