LAHORE:A child drowned while bathing in a canal at Thokar Niaz Baig on Friday. Emergency teams from Rescue 1122 reached the scene after receiving a call. According to the caller, the child was bathing in the canal when he lost control and drowned in the water. Rescue personnel successfully recovered the child’s body from the canal.
