Thousands of megawatts electricity with completion of projects by end of 2017: Shahbaz

National Assembly members Javed Ali Shah and Ch Jaffar Iqbal met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
According to a handout issued on Wednesday, speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said the leadership of PML-N had worked very hard on energy projects during last three years and work was continuing on several power projects.
He said that the sincere efforts to remove darkness from the country were yielding positive results and thousands of megawatts electricity would be available with the completion of energy projects by the end of 2017.
The assembly members congratulated the chief minister on giving a splendid package for the welfare of farmers and said that federal and Punjab governments had won the hearts of the farmers by giving a historic package of billions of rupees for the development of agri sector and prosperity of cultivators.
