No enemy can cast an evil eye on Pakistan, says Salman

LAHORE : The entire nation paid tribute to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for making Pakistan defence impregnable. Today, no enemy can look at Pakistan with a malicious eye.

Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique shared these thoughts in his message on Youm-e-Takbeer on Wednesday.

Khawaja Salman Rafique said that on this day in 1998, Nawaz Sharif fulfilled his great promise despite strong opposition and pressure from all over the world and gave Pakistan the status of a nuclear power. He said that PMLN has always worked for the development and prosperity of the country. “Pakistan is currently going through difficult period and the nation is quite upbeat that under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, Pakistan will once again move on the path of progress”.

Meanwhile, Provincial Minister for Labour, Youth Affairs and Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, in a statement on Youm-e-Takbeer said that May 28 is a historic day in Pakistan's history. “It is a day to pay tribute to PMLN leader Nawaz Sharif for rendering great service to nation and making Pakistan a nuclear power”.

He said that this day reminds us of national solidarity and sacrifices. “It is right time for us to pay tribute to our martyrs and scientists. Not only this, but we should make our younger generation aware of the importance of Youm-e-Takbeer”. He said that Youm-e-Takbeer is a symbol of our national dignity and rationality. “We are ready to make every sacrifice for the security of our country. It is matter of satisfaction that Pakistan's defence is in safe and strong hands”.
