41 cops promoted to rank of inspector

LAHORE:A rank pinning ceremony was held at the Central Police Office on Thursday where 41 officers were promoted to the rank of Inspector. IG Punjab personally pinned the ranks on the newly promoted officers.

According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the promoted officers include 21 from Multan, nine from Bahawalpur, seven from Faisalabad, and four from DG Khan.

Blood donation camps conducted

Punjab police conducted blood donation camps across all districts, including Lahore, in collaboration with thalassemia-related institutions on World Thalassemia Awareness Day. IG Punjab, on this day, reaffirmed Punjab Police’s commitment to the treatment and welfare of thalassemia-affected children of police personnel. Under the "Hamare Phool" project, 161 registered children of police employees are receiving a monthly stipend of Rs15,000 each to support medical expenses. IG noted that over Rs7 million have been spent this year, with more than Rs27.3 million provided last year. He emphasised that Punjab Police will continue to support these children through partnerships with hospitals and welfare organisations.
