13,117 illegal foreigners deported from Punjab

LAHORE:The campaign for the evacuation of illegally residing foreign nationals is ongoing across the province. In continuation of this campaign, 13,117 illegally residing individuals, including Afghans, have been deported from across Punjab.

Punjab Police spokesperson said that during the campaign, 13,187 illegally residing individuals have been shifted to holding centres, while 70 illegally residing individuals are currently present at holding points. Punjab Police spokesperson said that five holding centres have been established in the provincial capital and a total of 46 across the province. IG Punjab said that the policy of evacuation of illegally residing individuals is being followed in accordance with international laws and the security is on high alert. The complete evacuation of all illegally residing individuals is being ensured, and human rights are being fully taken into account during the evacuation process.
