GUJRANWALA:Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) President Rana M Siddique Khan, Senior Vice President Ahmad Naveed Ranjha and Vice President Chaudhry Yousaf in a joint statement on Friday expressed deep concern and sorrow over the Pahalgam attack.

They stated that as always, India is once again trying to divert the attention of the international community from the severe human rights violations ongoing in occupied Kashmir by placing blame on Pakistan and the Pakistan nation will never accept this kind of irresponsible attitude. Rana Siddique said, “We salute Pakistan’s great armed forces, who always conveyed the message of peace to the world by defending the country, protecting the borders and making sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. The Pakistan Army is our pride, our honour and the guarantee of our safety and the entire nation is proud of them”. He said that the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry stands shoulder to shoulder with our brave forces on every front and wants to send a clear message to anti-state elements that the nation and its business community are united and will not fall for any foreign pressure or propaganda. Ahmad Naveed Ranjha said, “We stand with the Pakistan Army in every field - be it at the borders or on the diplomatic front. The sacrifices made by our soldiers, who gave their lives for the country have placed the nation in eternal debt to them.”
