LAHORE:The Grand Health Alliance (GHA) Punjab continued its protest demonstration and sit-in in front of Punjab Assembly on 15th consecutive day on Monday against the privatisation of the health facilities in the province.
The young doctors and other medical staff also observed strike in OPDs in government hospitals on the third day on Monday. The nurses and paramedical staff closed outdoor and slip counters. The patients faced severe difficulties due to strike in outdoor wards in the teaching hospitals in Lahore. The health workers also boycotted anti-polio campaign in some areas of the provincial capital.
