LAHORE:In a major reshuffle in the provincial bureaucracy, the Punjab government has ordered the transfer and posting of 33 Assistant Commissioners across various districts on Friday.
According to the notification Assistant Commissioner Jhang, Umar Sarwar has been directed to report to the Services Department for a course, while Farukh Mehmood, previously serving as Assistant Commissioner General Gujranwala has been posted in his place. Ahsan Mumtaz, Assistant Commissioner Okara, will also report for a course while Rab Nawaz has been appointed as his replacement from Wazirabad.
Mian Murad has been transferred from Mianwali to Wazirabad while Salman Qayyum moves from Narowal to Mianwali. M Iqbal, formerly in Mian Channu, will now serve in Narowal. Sajida Razzaq has taken over his position in Mian Channu.
Kamran Ashraf of Gojra, Fazil Muddasir of Phalia, Rizwan Ashraf of Yazman Mandi, Nauman Mehmood of Bahawalnagar, Irfan Martin of Noshehra, M Arif Qureshi of Hassan Abdal, Mirza Raheel Baig of Kabirwala, and M Shakeeb Sarwar of Bahawalpur City have all been directed to report for departmental courses.
Sadaf Akbar, previously posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue Sahiwal, will now serve in Gojra. Waheed Hassan has been transferred from Chichawatni to Phalia,
with Narjis Khatoon Jafri taking over in Chichawatni. Imran Rafiq from DG Khan has been posted to Yazman Mandi, while Ghulam Mustafa Jutt moves from Dunyapur to Bahawalnagar. Nadeem Arshad has taken charge as Assistant Commissioner Dunyapur.
Samina Basheer has been appointed Assistant Commissioner Noshehra. Aqsaa Imtiaz has been assigned to Hassan Abdal. Aamir Liaqat has replaced Mirza Raheel Baig in Kabirwala. Zohaib Kareem, previously Assistant Commissioner General Multan, is now posted as Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur City. Rashid Iqbal has been directed to report to the Services Department, and Nadeem Baloch from Mandi Bahauddin has replaced him in Sadiqabad.
Adnan Basheer from Lahore’s HR wing has been moved to Mandi Bahauddin, while Shahid Basheer of Chak Jhumra is now posted as General Assistant Revenue Lahore, with additional charge of Assistant Commissioner HR Lahore. Zuhi Basit from Gujranwala HQ has been transferred to Chak Jhumra. M Akmal, previously posted in Khairpur Tamewali, has been deputed to the Lahore Parking Company as CEO. Shahid Iqbal has replaced him as Assistant Commissioner Khairpur Tamewali.
