LAHORE:As part of the ongoing ‘Drug-Free Punjab’ initiative, Punjab police conducted 1,428 raids on drug dealers' dens across the province over the past week.
During these operations, 780 drug dealers were arrested, and cases were registered. A significant amount of narcotics was seized, including 335 kilograms of charas, 38 kilograms of crystal meth (ice), 37 kilograms of heroin, and 33,619 litres of illicit liquor.
