LAHORE:Following the directives of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar, a ceremony was held at the Central Police Office for officers promoted from DSP to SP rank. IG Punjab, along with senior officers, conferred the SP ranks on the promoted officers.
Spokesperson for Punjab Police shared that the officers promoted to the SP rank attended the ceremony with their families. Dr Usman Anwar congratulated the officers and their families and urged them to carry out their duties with even greater dedication.
Dr Usman Anwar further said that 22 to 25 new SP positions would be created in various units, including CCD, Cyber Crime, and Right Management Force. He added that around 4,000 promotions from Constable to DSP would take place in the near future.
