LAHORE : A Tik Toker and his friend were injured in a firing incident in the Sherakot area late Saturday night.
According to reports, the Tik Toker Shamsher Bhatti and his friend Saghir were on their way on a bike when some unidentified car riders opened fire on them. The attackers reportedly fired multiple shots at the duo before fleeing the scene. Both Shamsher Bhatti and Saghir sustained injuries. Police and rescue teams were immediately alerted and arrived at the location shortly after the incident. The injured men were shifted to hospital.
The condition of the victims remains unclear, but sources suggest that their injuries are not life-threatening. The police have gathered evidence from the scene and have registered a case against the unknown assailants.
38 POs arrested
Punjab Police have intensified their crackdown on crime and terrorism, conducting 436 search and sweep operations and eight mock exercises across the province in the past 24 hours.
During these operations, authorities arrested 38 proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes and 123 suspicious individuals. A significant cache of weapons was recovered, including two Kalashnikovs, 12 rifles, 20 handguns, and hundreds of bullets.
