LAHORE: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique said that the cancer care clinic of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research (NSICTR) will be opened for the public by Sept 30, 2025 while the OPD of Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology Sargodha will be functional by June 30, 2025. He shared this information while chairing a meeting in the Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Department on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, provincial Health Minister chaired the 92nd meeting of the Board of Directors of Punjab Health Infrastructure Management Company (PHIMC) on Tuesday. Various important decisions were taken regarding the CM’s Special Initiative for Transplant Programme during the meeting. Addressing the meeting, Khawaja Salman said that the entire system of the CM's Special Initiative for Transplant Programme has been made very transparent.
