LAHORE:A 37-year old gynaecologist was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a private hospital in the Data Darbar area.
Police have sealed the hospital and launched an investigation into the incident, considering suicide as a possible cause. According to initial reports, Dr Sana, a resident of Mian Channu, had recently appeared for the MRCOG exam but failed. Sources suggest this may have led to distress, though authorities are exploring all possible angles.
Police arrived at the scene upon receiving information and, with the assistance of forensic teams, collected evidence before shifting the body to the hospital for post-mortem examination.
A police spokesperson stated, “Initial findings indicate suicide, but the exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report.” Authorities are also questioning hospital staff and the deceased’s family to establish a clearer picture of the events leading to her death.
Three held for injuring man during robbery

Police recovered body of an unidentified young man near the railway tracks in Batapur on Thursday. Authorities have shifted the body for post-mortem and initiated legal proceedings. Locals discovered the deceased near the railway line and immediately informed the police. Upon arrival, law enforcement took the body into custody and began efforts to locate the victim’s family.
