Japanese delegation visits Saaf Pani Company

LAHORE:The JICA consultants from Japan will introduce the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system at filtration plants installed by Punjab Saaf Pani Authority (PSPA).

In this regard, a Japanese team visited the Punjab Saaf Pani Authority’s head office on Monday and called on its Chief Executive Officer Syed Zahid Aziz and discussed possible implementation of province-wide project.

The CEO said the programme will help save drinking water with the modern devices as the programme was designed to provide uninterrupted clean water facility to consumers. The SCADA system will enable to determine the flow of water, leakage, and volume of water by using ultra sonic technology, he maintained. The Japanese team included Diraku, Murakami, and Konno.
