Locals of Mehmood Colony Tehsil Ferozewala filed pleas with the offices of the CM’s Complaint Cell and Punjab Ombudsman seeking directions to remove garbage from Rizvia Road. Reportedly, despite directions issued by the CM Complaint Cell and the Punjab Ombudsman for Deputy Commissioner Sheikhupura and Chief Officer, no action has been taken so far to clear the road from garbage that is on the road since the last six years. The Punjab Ombudsman issued directions to the DC twice and four months ago, the DC visited the road on the instructions of the Lahore Commissioner and promised to clean it soon.
