Over Rs3m released for cops’ medical treatment

LAHORE:The Punjab Police has released an additional Rs3.96 million to support the medical treatment of employees and their families suffering from serious illnesses.

Key beneficiaries included Constable M Atif and Driver Constable Fayyaz Ullah, who were each granted Rs500,000 for major surgeries. Constable Zafarullah received Rs250,000 for his wife’s treatment, while Constable Adnan Malik was allocated the same amount for his daughter’s care.

Additionally, the wife of martyred Inspector M Rafiq and ASI Sadiq Haider were granted Rs200,000 each for medical expenses. Collective amounts ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs300,000 were allocated to other police employees, retired personnel, and families of deceased officials for their medical needs.
