LAHORE:In Millat Park area, a man was arrested for repeatedly assaulting his daughter-in-law. The arrest was facilitated through a swift response by the Virtual Women Police Station of the Safe City Authority. The case came to light when the victim's father called the 15 Emergency Helpline to report the crime. According to the victim, her father-in-law had assaulted her multiple times and threatened her with dire consequences, including death, if she disclosed the abuse.
Upon receiving the call, the Virtual Women Police Station promptly dispatched a team to the location, ensuring the suspect was apprehended. Investigations revealed that the father-in-law took advantage of his son's absence to harass and assault the woman.

In a bizarre turn of events, the Islampura police have arrested a man who shot himself in an attempt to falsely implicate his brother-in-law and cousin in a fabricated case. According to the police, the suspect, identified as ljaz, deliberately shot himself in the leg and subsequently accused his brother-in-law Asif and cousin Yusuf of attempting to murder him.
Acting on the complaint lodged by ljaz's mother, the police registered a case of attempted murder. However, during the investigation, led by Islampura Investigation Incharge M Akhtar, evidence emerged that disproved ljaz's claims. Through meticulous inquiry, the team discovered that ljaz had orchestrated the incident to settle personal scores with his relatives. ljaz was taken into custody and is now facing charges for filing a false complaint and misleading the assured that justice.
