LAHORE : The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan Wednesday organised a training session on Hands-On Training on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in collaboration with the American Heart Association (AHA), at Fatima Jinnah Medical University Lahore.
Every year, the month of October is celebrated as Heart Saver Month. The American Heart Association team conducted the training session under the supervision of Prof Kamran Khalid Khawaja, assisted by Dr Omar Masood Gondal, Dr Hassan Masood Gondal and Ms Khadija Rozi Khan as AHA Instructors.
The FJMU students enthusiastically participated in the session and demonstrated hands-on training on mannequins.
Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Khalid Masood Gondal said the main objective of the session is to create awareness about CPR among students and people.
He said the CPSP is the first institute in South Asia to launch Advanced Skilled Programmes in medical education.
