Three uplift schemes worth over Rs11bn approved

LAHORE: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approves three development schemes worth more than Rs11 billion.

These schemes were approved in the 38th meeting of the PDWP for the fiscal year 2024-25. Acting Chairman of Planning and Development (P&D) Board, Dr Asif Tufail, presided over the meeting.

The approved schemes included Smart Safe Cities Project: Phase I (Revised) at a cost of Rs5.180 billion, Rehabilitation/Improvement of Pall Chowk to Uchali Road, District Khushab at a cost of Rs3.095 billion and rehabilitation of dual road from Sargodha to Makhdoom Interchange (M2) (Right Carriage Way, District Sargodha) (Revised) at a cost of Rs2.960 billion.

The meeting was attended by Chief Economist Masood Anwar, members of the P&D Board, and other senior officials.
