LAHORE:Light scattered rain was recorded in various City localities here on Sunday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions during the next 24 hours.
They said strong monsoon currents were continuously penetrating from Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal in most parts of the country while a trough of westerly wave was also affecting northern parts of the country. Sunday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Nokkundi and Bunji where mercury reached 41°C while in Lahore it was 34.8°C and minimum was 27.3°C.
