Six injured in pile-up near Sanda

LAHORE:Six people were injured in a collision involving a car, a rickshaw, and a motorcycle near Sanda Stop here on Sunday. The injured people were identified as Shafiq, 31, Imran, 33, Wasim, 32, Jahangir, 55, Inayatullah, 59, and Rafiq, 35. Among them, Inayatullah and Rafiq suffered severe head injuries. The injured were admitted to hospital.


Fire breaks out in a house

A fire broke out in a house in DHA Phase 2 on Sunday. According to emergency services, seven Rescue emergency vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene. Firefighters doused the fire and rescued two individuals who were inside the house at the time of the fire. Two individuals, experiencing severe breathing difficulties due to smoke inhalation, were shifted to hospital. No fatalities were reported.

Man commits suicide

A 25-year-old man took his own life by hanging himself with a rope in the Shahdara police area on Sunday. The victim, identified as Adeel, was reportedly depressed over domestic issues. He had secluded himself in a room before he ended his life by hanging. Police shifted his body to the morgue.

Two found dead

Two men were found dead in different parts of the City on Sunday. A 65-year-old man was found dead near Shad Bagh. The victim was identified as Amin.

Meanwhile, a 40-year-old man was found dead on the roadside in Shahdara Town. The identity of the man has yet to be determined. The bodies were shifted to the mortuary by Edhi Ambulance.
