LAHORE:Hot, humid and partly cloudy weather was witnessed in the City here on Sunday while Met office predicted rain with winds, thunderstorm in City and other parts of the province on Monday (today).
Met officials said continental air was prevailing over most areas while a shallow westerly wave was also present over upper parts of the country.
They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country. However, windstorm/thunderstorm-rain was expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas. Sunday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Turbat where mercury reached 46°C, while in Lahore, it was 41.2°C and minimum was 28°C.
