Boy dies of snake bite

LAHORE:An eight-year-old boy died after being bitten by a snake in the Chuhng area. The victim Faizan was playing in the street. A snake approached but he could not notice. The insect attacked him. The victim could not survive and died. The victim belonged to a gypsy family.

Goat thief arrested

A suspect involved in snatching a goat from a citizen was arrested by Nishter Colony police. Reportedly, police received a call on helpline 15 that two suspected bikers had taken away a goat from a citizen. A dolphin squad team responded to the call. They intercepted the suspects in Attari Bazaar.

One of the suspects dropped the goat and ran away. The other suspect was arrested. He was handed over to Nishter Colony police. Two days back, four suspects had snatched a goat from a citizen in Samanabad. The suspects were riding a stolen car. The four-wheeler was recovered and police were searching for the suspects.

14 die in accidents

Around 14 people died, whereas 1,357 were injured in 1,256 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. Out of these, 568 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 789 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.

Man commits suicide

A 22-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself in the Harbanspura area. The victim identified as Arsalan Arshad reportedly was frustrated due to personal reasons. On the day of the incident, he locked himself in a room of his house and hanged himself. His body was moved to morgue.

Two bikers hit to death

Two people died as a result of collision between a motorbike and a trawler at Canal Road in the Johar Town area. Reportedly, two youths were riding a bike and going somewhere. As they reached Canal Road in Johar Town police limits, their bike collided with a trawler. as a result, they fell down and received serious injuries. They were shifted to hospital but could not survive and died. The victims were identified as Suleman and Umair.

Addict injures three

A man shot at and injured three persons for refusing to pay money for drugs in

Lytton Road police limits. The injured victims were identified as Munir, Irfan and Umar.
