LAHORE:Punjab police Thursday arrested three people and registered 16 cases for stubble burning across the province during the last 24 hours.
According to a Punjab police spokesman, a total of 139 cases have been registered and 109 suspects arrested for crop stubble burning so far. In the provincial capital, four cases were registered and one man was arrested for stubble burning, the spokesman added.
