Alhamra’s new officers vow to preserve legacy

LAHORE: Alhamra Arts Council is actively preparing to present high-quality literary and cultural programmes.

In their first official meeting, Chairman Alhamra, Razi Ahmad, and Executive Director Sarah Rashid agreed on innovative measures to preserve their legacy. Both top officials discussed ways to enhance cultural activities in language, literature, art, music, photography, drama, and other cultural fields. Ahmed congratulated the newly appointed Executive Director and emphasised the crucial role of cultural exchanges in alleviating economic stress, highlighting the deep connection between art and society.

Sarah Rashid commended Chairman Alhamra for the successful LLF edition in New York and emphasized the importance of art. They both acknowledged the inclusivity of artists as vital to the overall cultural development, reaffirming Alhamra's significant role in literary and cultural progress.
