3,200 cases filed in virtual women police station

LAHORE:Pakistan’s first virtual women police station 'Meri Awaaz Maryam Nawaz' is gaining popularity. Women are actively seeking guidance from the virtual police station to resolve their issues. Over 3,200 cases have been registered, including 330 FIRs and 750 ongoing investigations.

The virtual police station is providing priority-based solutions to all women's issues, including harassment and domestic violence. A spokesperson for PSCA stated that women can contact the police station through helpline 15, the Women Safety App live chat, and video calls and share their problems with confidence and trust without disclosing their name and address.
