Rs2m released for cops’ medical expenses

LAHORE:IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar on Sunday has disbursed an additional Rs2 million to cover medical expenses for employees across various districts.

According to the details, four lakh rupees were allocated to cover medical expenses for the injured constable Sajid Ali of the Special Protection Unit. Sub-Inspector Rashid Waseem of the PHP Gujranwala received three lakh 50 thousand rupees for medical treatment. Injured Constable Waqas Ramzan of Rawalpindi received three lakh rupees for medical expenses. Additionally, two and a half lakh rupees were allocated to cover medical expenses for ASI M Abbas of Bahawalnagar. Head Constable Rashid Ahmad of Lahore police and ASI Nasir Mahmood of Khanewal each received two lakh rupees.
