SPs to be accountable for SDPOs’ poor performance

LAHORE: CCPO Lahore presided over a meeting at the Capital City Police Headquarters to review the performance of the Civil Lines and Iqbal Town divisions.


Field officers were instructed to strictly implement a zero-tolerance policy on cases related to crimes against women and children. CCPO warned that the SPs would be accountable for poor performance of the SDPOs. He directed the relevant officers to implement of the SOPs related to the Special Initiative Police Stations (SIPS) programme. He directed to arrest the suspects involved in murder, attempted murder, robbery, and kidnapping.

1,686 applications disposed of Operations wing of Lahore police received 2,055 applications from various sources during the current year, out of which 1,686 applications were disposed of.

Operations wing received 1,014 applications from IG Punjab Complaint Cell, out of which 884 were marked from CCP office. Decisions were given on 82 out of 92 applications. The applications of 470 out of 612 applicants, who came to the DIG Operations office and applications of 211 out of 297 applicants, who came to open courts, were processed, while 16 applications received from PMDU and 23 applications received from expats were disposed of.
