Boney Kapoor credited Salman Khan for encouraging Arjun Kapoor to lose weight
Boney Kapoor discussed Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor's fallout, noting that their relationship might not be as strong today.
During a recent interview with News18, the 68-year-old film producer discussed his son Arjun's strained relationship with Salman and addressed whether the tension between them had impacted his own relationship with Salman.
Boney also reflected on Arjun's acting career and revealed how Salman was the first to notice his talent.
The Maidaan producer also admitted that he had no idea initially that Arjun aspired to be an actor.
Moreover, Boney mentioned that it was the Tiger 3 actor who informed him about Arjun's potential to become an actor and how he had the capability to do so.
Boney said, “He (Salman) took it upon himself to see that he becomes an actor.”
He further recalled that Salman encouraged the Ishaqzaade actor to lose weight, and credited the 48-year-old for Arjun's progress.
While talking about the current tension between Arjun and Salman, Boney said, “Whatever said and done, today their equation might not be that good but he gave him his best (with regard to) Arjun. His growth was influenced by Salman.”
