Kite flying dangers: Teachers asked to educate students

LAHORE: Post Graduate Medical Institute and Amiruddin Medical College Principal Prof Dr Muhammad Al-Fareed Zafar has appealed to the teachers of all educational institutions to inform their students about the dangers of kite flying along with its damages and encourage them to participate in other healthy sports activities instead of the kite flying. In his statement, Prof Al-Fareed Zafar said that the responsibility and role of parents is very important in this regard and everyone who cares about humanity has to play role in preventing kite flying. He also requested the people to install a safety wire on the bike to protect themselves and their children to protect themselves and their families from any accident. Principal PGMI urged the health professionals to spread awareness about the implications of kite flying through social media to prevent loss of lives.
