LAHORE : Cold and foggy weather continued to grip the City here on Thursday while Met officials predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials warned that dense fog was likely to continue in Islamabad, plain areas of Punjab, KP and upper Sindh while due to continuously low daytime temperatures, very cold weather was likely to prevail in fog-affected areas and citizens were advised to be extra cautious.
Met officials said continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country while a shallow westerly wave was likely to affect upper parts of the country.
Thursday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Skardu where mercury dropped to -10°C while in Lahore, it was 4.4°C and maximum was 12.5°C.
