LAHORE:School Education Department (SED) Punjab on Monday issued notification according to which all the public and private schools will be reopened from tomorrow (Wednesday). However, as per the notification, the schools shall start at 9:30am till January 22 while the normal school timingsshall be observed from January 23, 2024.
The students have also been allowed to wear any warm clothing, sweaters, jackets and caps etc and any shoes for protection from the cold weather.
All chief executive officers (DEAs) in Punjab have been directed to ensure compliance of the directions. Similarly, the Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab also issued notification about reopening of higher education institutions (HEIs) in Punjab from tomorrow.
