LAHORE : After the successful completion of the Capt Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed Flyover, Central Business District (CBD) was steadfastly advancing the Walton Road upgradation.
CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin visited the Walton Road Upgradation Project on Saturday and also presided over a comprehensive review meeting.
He emphasised that following the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the conduit work will be completed promptly. He directed to utilise full workforce and machinery in the ongoing Walton Road Upgradation project.
CBD Punjab COO Brig (retd) Mansoor Janjua, Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain, Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Construction Asif Babar, Director Architecture Sameer Aftab, Project Director NLC Brig (retd) Umar Farooqui and other senior officials of CBD Punjab, NLC, and Nespak were present during the meeting.
Imran Amin personally assessed the progress of the conduit work on Walton Road. The upcoming focus includes the diversion of the ADA Nullah, once the conduit work is completed.
Imran Amin expressed commitment to address the longstanding sewage issues on Walton Road, with the goal of resolving them before the anticipated rain spell of 2024. The Walton Road Upgradation was poised to bring significant relief to the residents of Walton and other adjoining areas. Additionally, CEO CBD Punjab reviewed landscaping work on Capt Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed flyover, underlining the commitment to both functionality and aesthetics in infrastructure development.
