A murderer was hanged in Kot Lakhpat Jail on Wednesday.
The convict was identified as Mushtaq, son of Nawaz, who had killed one Abdullah over a minor issue in Dera Ghazi Khan in 2002. The appeal of the convict for clemency was rejected by the President of Pakistan. He was allowed to meet his families last time before execution. Police handed over the body to the deceased’s family.
