President Mamnoon arrives in Turkey on four-day official visit

ISTANBUL: President Mamnoon Hussain was accorded a warm welcome as he arrived here on Wednesday on a four-day official visit of Turkey.
The president upon arrival was received at the airport by Governor Istanbul, Turkish minister for justice, Pakistan’s ambassador in Turkey and other senior officials. President Mamnoon Hussain was visiting Turkey on the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to attend the ceremony of centenary commemoration of Canakkale Battles in Turkey.
During the visit, the president will hold meetings with the Turkish leadership and discuss the bilateral relations, matters of mutual interest and regional situation. Besides, the president is also expected to hold meetings with the presidents of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Albania on the sidelines of the ceremony of centenary commemoration of Canakkale Battles in Turkey.President Mamnoon Hussain will also attend the reception to be hosted by the Turkish president in the honour of dignitaries attending the event.
