Strategic oversight committee constituted

PESHAWAR: The competent authority has constituted the Strategic Oversight Committee for Coronavirus.

The committee include Minister for Health, Secretary Health Department, Secretary, Relief, Rehabilitation & Settlement Department, Secretary Home & Tribal Affairs Department, Secretary Local Government & Rural Department, Secretary to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Director General Health Services.

The committee will provide strategic guidelines and directive for preparedness, prevention, control and response to the coronavirus outbreak threat.

It will take strategic decision in respect of establishing trigger point and implementation of the same including decisions regarding quarantine needs, recommending for closure of school, collages, bazaars and such areas which may be considered as risk factor, recommending restrictions on travelling and any other strategic decision required, it was notified by Health Department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
