King Charles recorded a special 70th anniversary message for the BBC World Service’s annual Antarctic Midwinter Broadcast.
As per the royal family's official Instagram page, the monarch honoured research staff stationed at British Antarctic Survey (BAS) facilities in Rothera, Bird Island, and South Georgia by sending warm wishes.
