Prince William’s surprising decision overshadows King Charles' event

King Charles III, who was given a 41-gun salute at Buckingham Palace on his big day, was seemingly snubbed by his eldest son Prince William as the future monarch  got the spotlight in Northern Ireland.

The 42-year-old Prince gave preference to public duty over family celebration to show his commitment with community engagement, while Princess Kate remains missing in action as she focuses on her health.
