Cancer-stricken Princess Kate wore hat in debut appearance to hide?

Kate Middleton sparked conversation after she stepped out for the Trooping the Colour ceremony wearing a hat. 

The Duchess of Cambridge, who made her first appearance after announcing her treatment for cancer, was thought to be covering her hair, which was thought to be affected after getting preventative chemotherapy.
