King Charles honoured his ‘darling’ daughter-in-law Kate Middleton for the guardsmen on parade at Windsor Castle ahead of the much-anticipated Trooping the Colour.
As the monarch presented the New Colours to the Irish Guards, he saluted the regiment of the Princess of Wales.
