Prince Diana was known as “shy Diane” as she was often spotted making a bowed down pose, looking up when she smiled. The late Princess had adopted this pose for many reasons, with one being to protect herself.
She also did it to appear shorter than King Charles. However, as time went by, Diana shed off her iconic pose for a more confident look.
