Prince Edward is reportedly 'excited' to be handed a greater role as the monarchy has now become 'accidentally slim'.
With Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Prince Andrew out of the royal fold, along with Prince William, Kate Middleton and King Charles taking some time off, the burden of the royal family now falls on Prince Edward among other royals.
