Tired of googling, “but do they really like me?” Sick of listening to your friends repeat the same story from O-levels when you opened your mouth for a bite of your lunch and a fly flew right in? Just can’t with people telling you to get over your ex, your workload, your khala’s insistence of ‘beta ab tum shaadi kar lo’? Equally done with wordy writers writing wordy pieces that tell you how to cope with it all?

So are we, bruh, so are we.

Here’s how we deal with the blues and any other colour on the spectrum that annoys us: the internet. And we don’t mean mindless scrolling of your Facebook timeline, which frankly, sometimes can make your blood boil further when you read some of the debates raging on women’s groups.

Over the last two years specifically, we have pinpointed places to visit on the WWW for any and all afflictions. Here’s a list of some of our absolute faves.

KFD is the perfect place to get recommendations on where to go for dinner tonight, and to grumble about actual bad experiences. But guys, hundreds of adults fighting over whether food at X restaurant is overrated, or if it’s okay to have food delivered during a raging storm, or who makes the best pizza, is an experience in itself. So, if you’re looking for the best kebab roll in Karachi, KFD’s got you covered. If you’re looking for mindless drama and adult tantrums between strangers, KFD’s got you covered. 10/10 would recommend anyone to join.

For when the future is uncertain: @poetastrologers

Astro Poets are really quite the hit with the astrology-believing folk, but really, some of us read their weekly ‘scopes to work our brains a bit. Can anyone ever tell what they’re talking about? We don’t think so. But do they get tons of comments underneath deciphering what they meant? Yes. And while you do receive an uplifting astrological message, you also realize as you scroll through the threads that there are actual people out there, in that very moment, trying to make head or tail of the horoscopes, and you are not a loser. At least not the only one.

For when you can’t sleep: @darkthemereddit

Short, weird stories from Reddit, in convenient, swipeable Instagram posts. Topics range from scariest experiences to creepy facts. Even if you’re dealing with the very worst bout of insomnia ever, at least you will learn something awesome like the Earth is always at risk of being hit by a meteorite at any second, or statistically your next-door neighbour is likely to cause your death.
