Sculptor Sadiq passes away

MULTAN: Sadiq Ali Shahzad, a famous sculptor, died of cardiac arrest here on Tuesday.
He was 65. Scores of people from different walks of life attended his funeral prayers. Later, he was buried in a local graveyard. Sadiq Ali belonged to Multan and started making paintings and sculptures without any formal education. He made many famous and beautiful sculptures, which are displayed in an art gallery, which is permanently dedicated to him at the Multan Arts Council. He was also an honorary sculptor at the Bahauddin Zakariya University.
