Gold rates up Rs950/tola

KARACHI: Gold rates in the local market increased by Rs950 per tola on Thursday.
According to data released by All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, gold rates in the local market moved up to Rs110,500 per tola. Similarly, 10 gram gold price was raised by Rs815 to Rs94,736. In the international market, gold rates increased $23 to $1,822 per ounce.
Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,460 per tola. The price of 10 gram silver also stood the same at Rs1,251.71. Local jewellers said gold cost in the local market was lower by Rs1,000 per tola as compared with rates in the Dubai gold market.
