Woman, son die in road accident

LANDIKOTAL: A woman and her son died while four other persons of the same family were wounded when a car fell into a ditch in Kam Shalman here on Wednesday.

The sources said that a Suzuki van was on its way to Kam Shalman from Landikotal when it fell into the ditch while negotiating a sharp turn.

Hospital sources said that two persons, including a woman and her son, died on the spot. Afaq, Asim, Sadiq and Muhammad Dost sustained injuries in the accident. The injured were rushed to the Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar.
