5 POs among 47 arrested in Mardan

MARDAN: District police arrested 47 persons including five proclaimed offenders and their three abettors during raids on Tuesday.
On the directive of District Police Officer Dr Zahidullah Khan, the cops conducted raids in the limits of Hoti, Sheikh Maltoon, Jabbar, Kharaki and Jabar police stations.
Five proclaimed offenders and three abettors in various crimes were arrested and 21 pistols, three shotguns, one rifle, one Kalakov, 2502 grams charas, and 340 bullets. The cops also arrested another 39 suspects at nakabandis for further investigations.
Earlier on Monday, the cops in Par Hoti, Toru, Shahbaz Gharhi and Rustam areas arrested five proclaimed offenders and recovered nine pistols along with bullets from their possession.
