Woman kills ex-husband
MANSEHRA: A woman killed her ex-husband with the help of her brother in the Matsarian area of Pulrah Police Station here on Saturday.
Muhammad Sarfaraz was on the way to home when Naheed Bibi and her brother Muhammad Rustam allegedly opened indiscriminate fire on him, leaving him seriously injured. He was rushed to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
The h police on the written complaint of one Muhammad Sajjad, stated to be the brother of slain, lodged an FIR under section 302 of Ppc against Naheed Bibi and her brother Muhammad Rustam.
Police officials said the slain had divorced Naheed Bibi recently and raids were underway for the arrest of both the accused. Meanwhile, the body of a woman, who had jumped into Kunhar River after developing differences with her husband last month, was fished out from Rajwal area of Kaghan valley. In another incident, Muhammad Arshad, 15, had drowned in a gorge created after digging of granite stone in the Chitta Batta area of the district. Rescue 1222 officials pulled out the body from the muddy water and handed it over to his family.
